Primeiro descobri que o tal sambinha, escrito por Aníbal da Silva e Éden Silva, foi um dos maiores sucessos daquele que é considerado o melhor carnaval de todos os tempos, o de 1950. Depois, encontrei a letra:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;"Um dia&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Encontrei Rosa Maria&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Na beira da praia a soluçar&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Eu perguntei o que aconteceu&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Rosa Maria me respondeu&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;O nosso amor morreu&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Não sei ainda explicar qual a razão &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;De Rosa Maria desprezar meu coração&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Eu fazia-lhe toda a vontade&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Será que ela tem outra amizade?" &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Por fim, um dia encontrei Rosa Maria. Não na beira da praia, a soluçar, mas sim em cinco discos diferentes: "Delicada", de Teresa Cristina e seu Grupo Semente (alô Teresa!), morenaça que costumava entusiasmar olhos e acariciar ouvidos de um grupo de paulistas embriagados (eu obviamente incluído) no Centro Cultural Carioca da Lapa do Rio de Janeiro, por volta de 2003; "Adeus Guanabara", disco espetacular de Pedrinho Rodrigues e Samba Som Sete, uma aula atemporal de Samba; "Aí Vem o Samba", clássico absoluto dos Acadêmicos de Salgueiro de 1957 (atenção pra modesta "passadinha de som" da primeira faixa-ensaio); em "Psiu!", LP do até agora desconhecido meu Carlos Samm, de 1970; e a melhor de todas, na modesta opinião deste que vos escreve, "Elza Soares - Carnaval &amp;amp; Samba", de 1969, com a Senhora Garrincha soltando a voz em sambas-canção espetacularmente geniais. Nascido em São Paulo em 25 de abril de 1932, aos 23 anos em 1955 já era contratado da Radio Nacional de São Paulo, apresentando-se também na Radio Mayrink Veiga no Rio de Janeiro e gravando seu primeiro sucesso, a canção Meu benzinho, versão de My little one, de Frank Lane, recebendo os troféus Roquete Pinto e Disco de Ouro. A sua ascensão foi rápida, tornando-se num dos mais aplaudidos cantores brasileiros. Seus discos eram garantia de sucesso e primavam pela qualidade do repertório. Em 1959 já contratado pela RGE depois de ter lançado belíssimos discos na Polydor, grava um LP denominado o Inimitável Agostinho dos Santos, incluindo o grande sucesso A felicidade, de Tom Jobim e Vinicius de Moraes por ele interpretada na trilha sonora do filme Orfeu do Carnaval e reunindo, dentre outras, algumas das mais representativas canções da musica popular brasileira na época como, Hino ao sol, de Billy Blanco; Eu sei que vou te amar, de Tom e Vinicius; A noite de meu bem e Fim de caso, de Dolores Duran; Não tem solução, de Dorival Caymmi e Carlos Guinle; Canção do amor, de Luiz Bonfá e Antonio Maria; As aparências enganam, de Lupicinio Rodrigues e Canção da volta, de Ismael Neto e Antonio Maria. O som é produzido quando se giram as missangas em um sentido, e a extremidade do instrumento (o cabo) no sentido oposto. E por aí foi indo o Tom Zé: levado dentro de si uma enorme carga musical assimilada das festas religiosas e das serestas que participou em sua terra natal, passando pelo que viu e ouviu nas andanças e devolvendo tudo isso de maneira nova e criadora nas suas composições, após as suas mexeções com todo esse tipo de coisas nossas jogadas dentro de uma pipeta de graduação sonora e de acordo com os conhecimentos que adquiriu no Conservatório de Música da Universidade Federal da Bahia.E por aí foi indo o Tom Zé: poesia, som , som-poesia, tropicália, Salvador, Castro Alves, Vila Velha, mil aplausos, esbarro com ele, alô, olá, estamos aí, 1966. Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, festival, festival, Tom Zé ganha alguns, vitória, vitória, mas até hoje não lhe fizeram entrega de um dos mais badalados prêmios que tinha direito. Faz muchocho, quando se lembra, mas não para muito prá pensar nesses calotes porque há muito onde jogar o seu talento e ele não gosta de perder tempo.Por isso, sem perda de tempo, pensou e realizou este disco, onde procurou reunir uma variedade de tipos e de formas rurais e urbanos do samba, dando a cada música a vestimenta que achou mais adequada.E por aí vai indo o Tom Zé: certo do seu trabalho certo, mas não muito certo de sua aceitação. Começou cantando em igrejas do subúrbio do Rio até ser levada para o rádio por intermédio de Custódio Mesquita, que a ouviu cantar em 1933. Logo fez fama como intérprete de sambas nas rádios Philips, Mayrink Veiga, Ipanema e Tupi, e fez história com gravações antológicas de "Palpite Infeliz" (N. Rosa), "Tenha Pena de Mim" (C. Sousa/ Babaú), "Fez Bobagem (Assis Valente), "Camisa Amarela" (Ary Barroso) e "Feitiço da Vila" (N. Rosa/ Vadico). Foi, ao lado de Carmen Miranda, a maior cantora de sambas dos anos 30. Depois de atuar com sucesso na boate Vogue em Copacabana na década de 40, entre 1950 e 1951 gravou dois álbuns dedicados a Noel Rosa, que seriam responsáveis pela reavaliação da obra do poeta da Vila. Compondo e tocando com os amigos, despontava o talento, pondo o pé na estrada e na fama ao vencer o &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_de_M%C3%BAsica_Popular_Brasileira" title="Festival de Música Popular Brasileira"&gt;Festival de Música Popular Brasileira&lt;/a&gt; e ao ter uma de suas composições, &lt;i&gt;"Canção do sal"&lt;/i&gt;, gravada pela então novata &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elis_Regina" title="Elis Regina"&gt;Elis Regina&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;p style="font-family: arial;"&gt;Mais tarde, novos integrantes se juntaram: &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fl%C3%A1vio_Venturini" title="Flávio Venturini"&gt;Flávio Venturini&lt;/a&gt;, Vermelho, &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tavinho_Moura" title="Tavinho Moura"&gt;Tavinho Moura&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toninho_Horta" title="Toninho Horta"&gt;Toninho Horta&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beto_Guedes" title="Beto Guedes"&gt;Beto Guedes&lt;/a&gt; e o letrista &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fernando_Brant" title="Fernando Brant"&gt;Fernando Brant&lt;/a&gt;. O nome do grupo foi idéia de Márcio que ao ouvir a mãe perguntar dos filhos, ouvia a mesma resposta: "Estão lá na esquina, cantando e tocando &lt;a href="http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viol%C3%A3o" title="Violão" class="mw-redirect"&gt;violão&lt;/a&gt;." O grupo promovia deliberadamente o uso de drogas psicodélicas, e sua influência "sociológica" é resultante de uma longa viagem pelos EUA durante o Verão de 1964 em um ônibus escolar pintado de forma psicodélica e identificado como "Furthur". Essa viagem foi contada de forma brilhante por Tom Wolfe no seu livro "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Após essa viagem de ônibus totalmente careta, o Pranksters realizou uma série de "Acid Tests" em vários locais da Califórnia, que se tratavam nada mais nada menos de mega baladas hippongas regadas a muitos tipos de doces e guloseimas "estimulantes" e uma banda de rock psicodélico, os  "Warlocks" (futuros The Grateful Dead), tocando ao vivo.
